Military Ice Cream Head

ice cream

So this dream was interesting 😛

I took part in military training or boot camp, then I showered. After this I started walking around among many others, and I was sort of like a tourist. I got in a very long line and a guy put ice cream or whipped cream on the top of my head. He put a lot and it fell off, so he had to do it again with less. Then I walked off and that’s all I remember.

Military Training or Boot Camp

Dreaming that you are in a boot camp represents your need for discipline and rigid rules. You need to have a better focus on your goals.

-DreamMoods

DreamMoods also adds under the analysis of “Military Camp” that it could represent the need for a new start or fresh beginning.

Now the Shower dream symbol can be interpreted in many ways depending on if the water is clear or muddy water, if you’re showering with your clothes on or if you’re showering with someone else, etc. I just had a plain regular shower, so..

Showering in clear, fresh water symbolizes spiritual or physical renewal and forgiveness. You are washing the burdens out of your life.

-DreamMoods

Tourist

Dreaming that you are a tourist suggests that you are unsure of your surroundings and environment. Perhaps you are feeling a little lost in the world.

-DreamMoods

Waiting in line dream symbol

Dreaming that you are in line represents your need for patience. You need to learn to wait for something and not always have it right away.

-DreamMoods

Who knew that ice cream is considered good luck? Ice cream dream symbol..

Ice cream represents good luck, pleasure, success in love and satisfaction with your life.

-DreamMoods

To see or eat ice cream in your dream signifies luck, success in love, and satisfaction in your life in general. You should enjoy the moment and be happy about it.

-AuntyFlo

Dreams of ice-cream are special in some ways as they bring in pleasure and fulfillments in life contours. These dreams are considered good luck charm in ancient interpretations and hence you can expect many good things coming your way.

Ice cream brings positive revolution in life in the form of job change or transfer. This dream also suggests that you are going to participate in some crucial forthcoming events or functions. This dream also means that you need to have patience to achieve your goals and work on your aggression to get desired results.

Observing melted ice cream or the passing of an ice cream van greatly signifies that you are missing something. It is true that opportunities knock your door only once and hence if you get such dream act quickly and tap the chance presenting before you.

The meaning for head:

Usually relates to your mental cleverness or intellect, your thoughts. But it is also often to do with attitudes and decision making. Apart from this it represents consciousness, awareness of self or controlling factor. In some dreams it might help to think of the idioms about the head in your particular language. For instance in English we say ‘get ahead’ meaning improve ones standing.

The head usually links with your thoughts, opinions, your intellect, and especially your ability to make decisions. Therefore it is an indication of your intentions.

-DreamHawk

So I need to focus on my goals and be more disciplined. Perhaps the shower means that I am ready for a new start in life. The fact that I was like a tourist means I am a bit confused about the situation I am in. It’s true, I am unsure how to move forward to live the life I want to live. I then waited in line to get ice cream. That means I need to be patient for good luck, pleasure and a successful life. Not sure why the ice cream was put on my head, maybe it is that I have to think and make a decision to be successful in the future.

Graduation & Dead Relative Dream

Graduation dream

In this dream I was at my graduation (I graduated a few years ago by the way). I was sitting in the audience and my classmate and others were on stage speaking. To my surprise, my classmate who was speaking started talking about me and my accomplishments, they even showed old photos of me. I was surprised and started crying (tears of joy and appreciation), and I went up to the stage and thanked and hugged everyone on stage and in the audience. It was almost as if that whole ceremony was to celebrate me.

When I started hugging people in the audience I hugged my parents, and my Aunt (who passed away years ago when I was away in school) was sitting right next to them. I gave her a hug and she was being silly with me and put my hair on her head and she said she liked my hair.

So to dream about graduation means…

To dream you are at a graduation represents your achievements. You are successfully transitioning to a higher level and moving forward to important things.

-DreamMoods

DreamDoctor has the same interpretation of graduation:

Symbolizes successful transition to “next level” of ability and accomplishment. Dreams of graduation usually are very happy dreams. We sense fulfillment and achievement, admiration and respect of our peer group.

-DreamDoctor

To dream of a ceremony represents:

Attending a ceremony suggests that sacrifice and devotion is necessary for success. You may be going through a crucial moment in your waking life that requires your commitment. It is time for introspection, self discovery, and inner changes.

-DreamMoods

Now, for my deceased Aunt, I looked up relatives and according to DreamMoods,

To see your relatives in your dream signify family issues and feelings. Relatives are symbolic of some aspect of your own self.

-DreamMoods

I also looked up “dead” and this is what I found that applies to me:

  1. May be a way to resolve feelings with those who have passed on
  2. If you dream of a person who has died a long time ago, it suggests that a current situation or relationship in your life resembles the quality of that deceased person
  3. To see a dead sibling, relative, or friend indicates you miss them and are trying to relive old experiences you had with them.

I think the graduation and ceremony symbols tie in with new beginnings and moving forward in life.

As for my deceased Aunt (may she R.I.P), I was in tears when I told my Mom about the dream. I felt so happy seeing my Aunt in my dream. I believe she visited me to let me know she is okay and that she is looking over me. Perhaps also that she is proud of my accomplishments even though she was not alive to see me graduate. I do have regrets that I did not visit her while she was alive because I was so preoccupied with school and work. I always told myself that I would visit her after I graduated and unfortunately… that didn’t happen 😦

So although it may sound silly but I do believe she visited me, because truth be told she was not on my mind at all (sorry Auntie!). She passed away maybe over 10 years ago.

I am also taking to heart that it is possible I dreamed about her because “a current situation or relationship in your life resembles the quality of that deceased person“. She worked very hard and did not take care of herself which is why she passed away due to health issues. I am unfortunately headed in that direction right now where all I do is work work work and I am becoming unhealthy. I am going to try to heed her warning and take better care of myself so that I don’t suffer like she did when she was alive.

Pregnant Dog Dream

pregnant-dog

I had an odd dream last night that had a variety of symbols. I am trying to put it all together.

I was driving in a car with my Mom and fiance. We passed by a pregnant dog about to give birth. So we stopped and wanted to take care of the dog and monitor her. In the same dream I also started a community group and people were joining and were actively participating. I ate some cake and left cake out for the group.

I’m going to start with the first part of my dream.

I know the car symbolizes your life and the direction you are headed in life. I am glad I was the one driving (means I am in control of my life) and had my two priorities in life with me (Mom and fiance).

Now for the pregnant dog.

Tricky thing is that I did not dream that I’M pregnant. The dog is pregnant.

If you dream that you are pregnant, it could symbolize:

… an aspect of yourself or some aspect of your personal life that is growing and developing. It may represent the birth of a new idea, direction, project or goal.

– DreamMoods

I was happy to find that dreaming about a dog show indicates many advantages and good fortune (unless the dog is mad!). The dog symbolizes:

Intuition, loyalty, generosity, protection, and fidelity. The dream suggests that your strong values and good intentions will enable you to go forward in the world and bring you success.

– DreamMoods

A dog that has puppies can refer to your nurturing abilities. But my dog didn’t have puppies in the dream yet. She was pregnant and about to give birth.

Here is what birth could mean:

To dream of giving birth or see someone else giving birth suggests that you are giving birth to a new idea or project. It can also represent a new attitude, fresh beginnings, or a major event.

-DreamMoods

I also read that a pregnant dog is related to the word “litter”, and it could indicate “a precognitive feeling of a pending litter of tasks one will be facing in real life”. Another possible interpretation according to Dreamota is that it could symbolize sexual or maternal instincts.

This was interesting because I am in a turning point in my life and have been wanting to make changes. The dog symbolizes my good intentions and hopefully success will come my way. The dog’s pregnancy represents my development and as mentioned above, birth means new beginnings, a new idea or new project. The dog did not give birth yet but was about to give birth, which means that the change has not occurred but is yet to come.

And finally, cake could mean

  1.  That you need to learn to share and allocate your workload instead of trying to do everything yourself
  2.  That you feel you are not getting your fair share
  3.  Selfishness
  4.  Could represent accomplishments and achievements

– DreamMoods

I think the first definition applies to me, because I often try to do everything myself in all aspects of my life, including my new goal.
